What
are the system requirements to run the programs?
You need a PC with speakers, an Internet Explorer browser (version
4 or later), a Windows Media Player, and a Flash Player. You will
need at minimum a 28k modem to connect to the internet.
What if we're not sure. Can we test
the program?
Yes, we offer a pilot program package which allows you to pilot
100 participants at a cost of $14,900.
Is there a method to determine how well
it's working for us?
Yes, we provide complete real-time metrics. We report successes,
failures, and your return on investment.
How do you track our employees?
Each employee maintains their own workbook from their browser.
Their workbook status tracks their progress.
Will we know which employees are enrolled?
No. Many of your employees would not use the programs if they
knew you were watching them. Therefore we do not divulge confidential
information.
Which online courses are Selfhelpworks
currently delivering?
LivingFree, our smoking program, LivingLean, our weight and nutrition program, and LivingSmart, our program for controling alcohol use.
How do the programs
work?
They are cognitive-based learning programs delivered as a series
of audio/visual lectures via the internet. The programs change the way the students think about cigarettes, food, or alcohol to allow them to make rational not emotional choices about their behavior.
How successful is the program?
Our live programs have been given at major corporations throughout
the US for over 20 years. More than 75% of the participants
are successful. Although we do
not have one-year data from our online program yet, the results
thus far are demonstrating similar success rates.
